TA Fisher has applied for a new Starbucks café and drive-thru at The Point at Shepherds Hill, Woodley near Reading.

The scheme is effectively an extension of the existing retail development which includes Majestic, Pets Corner and Harrisons Vets.

Other retail around the Shepherds Hill roundabout includes an M&S Food Foodhall, a gym, bakery, dry cleaner and a BP/M&S petrol station.

A total of 46 car parking spaces will serve the scheme, including four new disabled spaces and two EV charging bays.

The scheme will be an extension of the retail on the roundabout and will involve demolition of two homes. The cafe/drive-thru will use the existing access and exit.

John Fisher, group managing director of TA Fisher, said “We are thrilled to have Starbucks on board. They will make a great addition to the amenity offer in this location and I am confident it will be a great success.”
