Slough Urban Renewal (SUR) has launched a public consultation over its plans for around 200 homes on the site of the former Montem Leisure centre.

The Montem Lane site, part of the proposed Chalvey regeneration area, will include areas of open space and improvements to woodland area and a brook which runs alongside the site. The homes will include houses and flats.

SUR, a joint venture between Slough Borough Council and Morgan Sindall Investments, hopes to submit a planning application in Autumn.

Andy Howell, SUR general manager, said: “We have worked hard to ensure that our plans will offer much needed high-quality local housing, while also providing attractive public realm and usable open spaces, that will benefit the wider community.

“I would encourage local residents to take a look at our dedicated website and to feed back their thoughts, via the online feedback form.”

Feedback is requested by Monday, August 10.
