Trevor Dempsey has become chief executive of housebuilder Dandara after two and a half years of running its northern Home Counties division.

He will lead the developer’s new housebuilding board with Chris Harris as divisional managing director and James Horne as divisional finance director.

The restructuring is intended to support the firm’s transition from a regional specialist to a nationwide player.

Mr Dempsey said: “Dandara continues to go from strength to strength – we have performed well against our planned growth objectives and are performing well in every region.

“We have successfully implemented new procedures and control processes that have helped us to achieve a high level of standardisation across our divisions in terms of service and quality levels – a commitment to customer service that has led to us retaining a five-star HBF (Home Builders Federation) rating.”

He added: “I believe that the changes we have made to the company structure will ensure the continued success of the business, help us to realise our full potential and offer many opportunities for our people and our customers.”

Mr Dempsey has previously held senior positions with Linden Homes and Bovis Homes.
