Victoria Jones has joined Reading UK as head of marketing.

Ms Jones has previously worked with Thames Water and Sodexo and has specialised in brand strategy, brand management and external communications.

At Sodexo she led a major, two-year rebrand project and more recently, and worked on campaigns for Thames Water.

Nigel Horton-Baker, executive director, Reading UK, said: “We are delighted that Victoria has joined us at this critical time.

“She will be playing an important role in helping guide Reading out of the current crisis and, longer-term, shaping the way Reading is presented to the world.

“Reading UK is totally focused on ensuring the Reading economy bounces back strongly and quickly re-establishes its reputation as preferred location for European and global business.”

Ms Jones said: “My new role within Reading UK is an exciting next step for me to broaden my skills and challenge my thinking to deliver strategic communications in the not-for-profit sector, something I’ve always been interested in.

“Having grown up in Berkshire, I have a real, deep-set interest in my home region, seeing it grow and invest in exciting initiatives.”
