Construction has begun at Reading’s newest logistics scheme.

Reading Logistics Park, a new 160,000 sq ft last-mile development, is being delivered by Graftongate in partnership with JP Morgan Asset Management.

The 8.5-acre site, off J11 of the M4, will comprise four industrial units, ranging in size from 25,262 sq ft to 67,704 sq ft.

The project, designed to achieve net zero carbon in operation, will target EPC A+ and BREEAM Excellent.  Completion is due in Q2 2026.

Neil Seager, partner for Haslams Surveyors, joint letting agents on the scheme alongside DTRE, said: “We’re thrilled to see work begin on site at Reading Logistics Park. The location coupled with Graftongate’s highly specified units speak for themselves, and the early letting of Unit 1 is a strong endorsement of its status as one of the best schemes in the South East.

“We’re excited to watch the scheme take shape over the coming months at J11 of the M4, and we’re optimistic that the discussions we’re having with prospective tenants will soon come to fruition.”
