Plans for a 177-unit extra care retirement development at Farnham Royal, Bucks have been revealed in a screening opinion request.

Lansdown, working with operator Inspired Villages, has submitted the request to Buckinghamshire Council to ask if an Environmental Impact Assessment is required to develop a 5.2-hectares Green Belt site, off Farnham Lane, north of Slough and west of Farnham Royal.

The land is made up of a former plant nursery and some hardstanding which had been used as an open storage area for a scaffolding company.

The proposed scheme of buildings ranging from one to three storeys would have 129 apartments and 48 houses which would be bungalows or cottages. A central clubhouse would have facilities including a restaurant, swimming pool, fitness suite and hairdresser.

The scheme has been designed by PRP Architects.
