PYL Bath Road has submitted plans for 54 homes on Bath Road in Totterdown.

The 0.49-acre site is previously developed brownfield land and is currently occupied by a car wash and car sales forecourt.

The nine-storey development will consist of 54 homes, over twice the number that Bristol City Council has identified for the site, across one and two-bed units, with a 30 per cent affordable provision on site.

Planning was submitted on July 27 and is currently pending consideration. Dozens of objections have since been lodged.

The scheme has been planned by Rackham Planning and designed by Oxford Architects with landscape architect Steele Landscape Design.
