Details of the speakers and walking tours at our first major event since January 2020 can now be made public – and it’s our biggest and most ambitious yet.
UKPropFest on September 9 will include some of the most influential names in property in the region.
They will be taking an in depth look at the Oxford-Milton Keynes-Cambridge Arc, the Oxford innovation eco-system, the changing role of science on the property sector, the importance of sustainability across the region and lots more.
Speakers and panel members for the talks include:
- Sarah Haywood, managing director of Advanced Oxford
- Tom Bridgman, executive director development for Oxford City Council
- Monica Zemla, associate director of Harwell Campus
- Nigel Tipple, chief executive of OxLEP
- Bev Hindle, executive director of the Arc Leadership Group
- Charlie Rowton-Lee, head of commercial agency (Oxford) of Savills
- Philip Campbell, commercial director of Milton Park
- Andrew Taylor, director and head of planning for Countryside
- Rachel Wood, managing director of Sladen Estates
- Richard Todd, regional office partner of Bidwells
- Rob Allaway, managing director of DevComms
- William Donger, director of TWO
- Rod Mordey, director of Westcott Venture Park
- Nick Hayes, partner and head of sustainability for Ridge
- Richard Harrington, chief executive of Buckinghamshire Thames Valley LEP
Between talks there will be walks around Westcott Venture Park and around the venue for the event, Bicester Motion.
Talks will end with a ‘wrap-up’ session, before a break, followed by the finale to the day, the OxPropFest Awards 21, a black tie dinner at which Olympic Gold medallist rower Greg Searle will present the winners. Those in contention were announced last month.
And throughout the day there will be an exhibition running which has commitment from 30 stand holders so far with room for many more. The event has the vast Hangar 113 for the entire day so delegates can be assured of plenty of ‘social’ space for both the talks and exhibition during the daytime and for the dinner in the evening.
More names are being added as confirmations come in and hundreds have already booked their places, both for the day and the evening, giving us the biggest audiences for any UK Property Forums event since the company launched in 2004. The content will also cover a wider geographical area than any previous event.
UK Property Forums managing director Matthew Battle said: “After many months of not being able to hold events we are really pleased to announce what will probably be our biggest and most ambitious event yet.
“We have been working hard with our partners, stakeholders and delegates to create this event which we think will be rather special.”
Early bird tickets to the day are £50+VAT (or £100+VAT after June 21, 2021). Tickets for the evening are £175+VAT.
