Entries have opened for this year’s OxPropFest Awards where the best of Oxfordshire’s property professionals get recognition for their contribution to the industry.
The new early opening date is to allow for the constantly increasing numbers of entrants since the awards started in 2018.
New categories have been created, including a specific Best Zero Carbon Project Award, and the black tie awards night has gone back to the stunning Keble College venue for the first time since the Covid lockdown.
Property professionals have until May 5 to get their entries in and a shortlist will be published in June. The awards night will be on September 12.
UK Property Forums managing director Matthew Battle said: “We had a bumper number of entries for last year’s OxPropFest Awards and so we wanted to give those considering entering this year a chance to get their entries in early.
“We have also been careful to evolve the categories to reflect the changing nature of the property industry in Oxfordshire so we’ve gone through and refreshed the list. The Best Zero Carbon Project is an essential feature as sustainability becomes a bigger part of our industry and we have established an award that recognises nature-based solutions.
“We also wanted to reward the great work done by so many teams who come together from different areas of expertise for specific projects and so we have a new award for the Best Consultant Team.
“And an interesting new category is the Deal of the Year which could be a letting, merger or acquisition or even a contract award. In such an active area, we think this will be particularly popular.”
