Plans for 75 new homes in Rendlesham, Suffolk have been approved by East Suffolk Council.
The homes will be delivered by Persimmon Homes as part of a development that will also comprise a woodland walk, street trees, a sustainable drainage system incorporating a pond and a community orchard.
The development consists of one-to-five-bedroom homes for private sale and will also incorporate make a mixture of different housing types available through a housing association partner. This includes 12 homes for below-market rent, seven for discounted market sale and six for shared ownership.
The new development will see over £800,000 spent on community infrastructure.
New play facilities will be provided and almost £100,000 will be invested into local secondary schools and highway upgrades. A new bus stop will also be installed.
