The Oxford to Cambridge Partnership has announced the appointment of two non-executive directors.

Dr Barbara Ghinelli (pictured left), director, innovation clusters and Harwell Campus for the UKRI-Science and Technologies Facilities Council and Lynette Ryals (pictured right), chief executive of MK:U and pro-vice-chancellor of Cranfield University will join the board on September 1.

The partnership’s recently-appointed chair Dipesh Shah said: “I’m delighted that Barbara and Lynette are joining the partnership board. They bring a range of skills and experiences, as well as local knowledge, to the partnership board. I look forward to working with them in our shared endeavour across the Oxford the Cambridge region.”

Prof Ryals said she looks forward to harnessing the ‘incredible potential’ of the region.

Dr Barbara Ghinelli, said, “I am deeply honoured to be a part of the Ox-Cam partnership. Innovation is a team sport, and it is essential that we unite our efforts to create an environment in the region where individuals and organisations can truly thrive, actively participate, and make world-changing impact.”
