The shortlist has been finalised for this year’s Royal Berkshire Property Awards.
Judges met on both September 1 and September 8 to go through the entries and have drawn up the shortlist which we can now publish for the first time.
A total of nine awards across eight categories were discussed by the judging panel which was chaired by Berkshire LEP chief executive Alison Webster, while others will be announced at a black tie awards night on October 18.
Those include the Matt Batt Award, where the winner will be chosen by UK Property Forums managing director Matthew Battle. It will be presented at the beginning of the evening and two special awards which will be announced as the finale to the event – The County Award and Leader of the Year.
The programme is the inaugural event of its kind. A forerunner to the awards was held in 2019 but the programme has been revamped and rebranded for 2023.
Mr Battle said: “I’m really pleased with the award submissions, especially since this is the first time we have put on this particular programme. There was a tremendous range of entries and I feel the the depth was such that it really reflected the quality of companies we have in Berkshire.”
