Yesterday, Craig Frame, managing director of Inside Limited, announced that the company would cease trading following two: “Major disputes with local authorities”.

Company information

Inside Limited specialised in fit-outs and refurbishment, with clients such as CBRE and Lichfield District Council.

Disputes

One of the notable disputes with a local authority concerned Inside Limited’s work on the Clay Cross Town Centre regeneration project.

The project, which received £24 million in Government funding was concerned with the creation of a new town square, pedestrianisation of Market Street and the installation of leisure units, alongside other features. It received planning consent in 2023, with Inside Limited appointed as the preferred contractor in March 2024.

In February 2026 Inside Limited said to the BBC that it: “will not be completing” the project: “due to ongoing contractual and financial disputes with North East Derbyshire District Council”, later adding in a statement: “the contractual and financial position had become untenable”.
