London Gatwick has awarded contracts to 11 construction contractors and specialists in refreshed Building and Civils Frameworks to support delivery of the airport’s capital investment programme for up to six years.

The selected suppliers will support management and delivery of airport projects such as pier refurbishments, installation of electric vehicle charging stations, self-check-in system enhancements and upgrading of terminal facilities

The announcement follows the launch of a new Design Services Framework last year

London Gatwick has refreshed its Building and Civils Frameworks, appointing 11 suppliers to help deliver its capital investment programme over the coming years. Alongside the Design Services Framework, these agreements will support a broad range of airport improvements, including pier refurbishments, terminal upgrades, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, self-check-in enhancements and other essential works. The frameworks are designed to improve efficiency, passenger experience and sustainability while supporting the airport’s long-term supply chain strategy.

The contracts will help deliver projects across asset replacement, expansion, capacity, process improvement, compliance and service quality. They also align with London Gatwick’s Decade of Change sustainability strategy, with commitments to carbon management, local employment and social impact. The structure has been developed to strengthen access for SMEs and widen regional participation, with half of the Lower Complexity contractors operating from local or regional offices.

Alasdair Scobie, Capital Programmes director, London Gatwick, said: “The Building and Civils Frameworks are the latest step in delivering London Gatwick’s ambitious capital investment programme.”
