Sebastian Johnson has been appointed ecosystem director to the management team at ARC, which has key science and innovation centres across the Golden Triangle.

Mr Johnson’s task will involve driving expansion of ARC’s cluster network, which currently network currently consists of more than 300 science and innovation organisations across the life sciences, space, energy and quantum sectors.

He was previously head of innovation and inward investment at OxLEP where he worked alongside Government and local partners to develop an internationalisation strategy and delivery plan for Oxfordshire.

ARC chief executive Stuart Grant said: “I’m delighted to welcome Sebastian to our team as we look to create long-term meaningful partnerships to help science and innovation businesses solve some of the world’s greatest challenges.

“Sebastian’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the Oxfordshire ecosystem will help us to realise our growth plans for ARC, by concentrating innovation across our place-based clusters.”
