Acting on behalf of Westbrook Whitfield, the Residential Development Land team of global property consultancy Knight Frank has sold a £25 million GDV development opportunity in the Vauxhall, Nine Elms, Battersea Opportunity Area, London.

The site, located on Wilcox Road, was acquired by White Properties Limited for £5 million.

The proposed scheme benefits from full planning permission to construct 22 new residential apartments spread over seven buildings ranging from two to seven storeys in height and covering approximately 18,044 sq ft of residential floor space.

In addition to the residential offering, approximately 8,230 sq ft of flexible commercial and community space, including six retail units and a nursery, will also be provided.

Once completed, the development will provide residents easy access to central London. The site is next to Nine Elms Station, serviced by the Northern line.

Mark Rogan, associate in the Central London Development Land team at Knight Frank, said:

“This sale underscores Knight Frank’s commitment to delivering exceptional opportunities in London’s ever-evolving residential development landscape. We are delighted to have acted on behalf of Westbrook Whitfield and played a pivotal role in bringing this outstanding development opportunity to life.

“The regeneration of the VNEB (Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea), which has undergone significant improvements in recent years, now offers some of the best shopping and dining in London. The transformation of Wilcox Road will continue to create a vibrant, dynamic community space in Nine Elms for its residents and the public.”
