Carter Jonas has secured planning consent on behalf of Landan homes, for a small scheme in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

The select scheme of eight units comprises a mix of two to five-bedroom homes, including both detached and semi-detached properties.

The Hertfordshire-based developer sources land and designs sustainable developments in the right locations. Its intention is to ensure the next generation of high-quality homes are delivered where they are most needed with minimal impact on the surrounding areas.

Huw Mellor, partner, planning and development for Carter Jonas Oxford, said: ‘We are extremely pleased to have achieved this planning consent for Landan Homes. Delivering a good mix of house types and sizes, this scheme will help address the acute local housing need in a sustainable and well considered manner.

Daniel Howlett of Landan Homes said: “This was our first project in the area, therefore we wanted to engage with a team who had excellent knowledge and working relationships with the local authority as well as other consultants locally.

“Carter Jonas were recommended to us due to years of successfully dealing with Vale of White Horse to ensure the best possible outcome on various types of proposals.

“Huw was a pleasure to deal with and the end result is a great scheme for eight houses which we are confident will be the first of many for Landan Homes in the Vale of White Horse district – with the continued help of Carter Jonas of course.”
