Thames Tap partner DevComms has made its most senior appointment to date.

The engagement specialist has appointed Pavitar Mann as senior account director. She will lead a team working for some of its biggest clients.

Pavitar, who is a cabinet member for Slough Borough Council, has a strong background in planning communications. She has worked for London agencies Curtin & Co and Newington and has specialised in the residential, mixed-use, transport, energy and infrastructure sectors.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and will be a key member of the DevComms’ project management team.

She said: “I’m delighted to be joining DevComms, at such a crucial point in the growth of the company. I look forward to bringing my experience and expertise and helping to contribute to the next chapter at DevComms.

“The high level of professionalism, open and welcoming culture and the extraordinary regard that clients have for DevComms were all key factors in my decision to join and I simply cannot wait to get stuck in.”

Rob Allaway, managing director of DevComms, said: “We are thrilled that Pavitar has joined DevComms. With a growing pipeline of work across the Thames Valley, the OxCam Arc and beyond, she joins us at a pivotal time.

“Pav is a strong communicator who has demonstrated her skills and experience in stakeholder engagement and building relationships and we felt that she would be an excellent fit for our team.”

Pavitar joins a number of new hires at DevComms over the last year to serve increased work and a growing client base across all sectors.
