At a rescheduled planning meeting on the 29th of September, Hounslow approved 333 new homes on the former Heidelberg Printing site, 69-76 High Street, Brentford.

The proposal is to demolish the existing building and erect four blocks ranging from three to eleven storeys to provide 333 residential units and commercial space with associated car and cycle parking, landscaping, amenity space and ancillary development.

The scheme would provide 100 new affordable homes.

The development includes improvements to the Thames Path and a link to the Brentford Project.

Work is expected to start at the end of the year and be complete by 2026.

Heidelberg sold the plot to Fairview homes in 2021 for a reported Euro 50 million.
