Colliers and JLL have jointly let 5,300 sq ft at the Urban Building in Slough to Fujitsu Research of Europe (FRE).

The bespoke-fitted second floor space was let on behalf of landlord Abrdn on a seven-year lease at £32.50 per sq ft.

This deal follows a similar letting to Logicalis, which signed for a 5,250 sq ft suite.

Andy Tucker, associate director, national offices at Colliers said: “The Urban Building is a well located, high quality office scheme offering flexible workspaces, meeting rooms, conference suites and the convenience of on-site amenities.

“It already benefits from a diverse range of occupiers including McAfee, KP Snacks, NSL and Logicalis. As a result of the recent success achieved on Cat A-plus office suites in this building, Abrdn is now creating an additional 4,500 sq ft fitted space on part of the second floor of the building – an ideal unit for companies seeking immediately available quality accommodation.”

This deal with FRE coincides with the launch of an electric vehicle charging service provided nearby on the corner of Albert Street and Windsor Road by RAW.
