Fulham FC has updated their fans on the development of the Riverside stand at Craven Cottage.
The basic frame and structure are now complete, and they are moving to the fit-out stage, ready for opening in summer 2022.
The new Riverside stand will feature restaurants, a hotel and spa, nine apartments, and rooftop terraces. The roof will now host a member’s club rather than an events space. The increased capacity will add 4,689 seats taking Craven Cottage to 29,600.
The Thames Path will be opened up, allowing access from Hammersmith to Putney bridge on the north side of the river. Work to enhance the Bishops park (Fulham Palace) will also add to the public realm as part of a £650,000 investment.
Fulham is currently top of the English Championship seeking promotion to the Premier League.
