An enterprise centre is to be set up at Oxford Brookes University.

OxLEP has secured £837,000 funding from the Government’s Local Growth Fund to help deliver the project in conjunction with the university.

The Oxford Brookes Enterprise Centre will support start-up health, life science and tech firms including spin outs by offering access to lab space, co-working space experts and professional networks.

Those networks will be designed to help the commercialisation of start-up firms.

It is expected the centre will support at least 17 businesses and 74 jobs.
