Savills’ Guildford development team has been joined by new graduates, Sam Sargeant and Miles Horton-Baker.

Sam (pictured right) recently graduated from the University of Reading with a first-class degree in Real Estate.

As a student he worked at Savills during his evenings and weekends, gaining experience in multiple departments within the business across the South East before meeting the Guildford development team during Summer work experience.

He subsequently accepted an offer to join the firm on a full-time basis.

Before undertaking his degree he worked as a project manager at a family run development business while, at the same time, also undertaking additional work experience with an independent chartered surveyor and a large property auction house.

Miles (pictured left) is taking his first steps into property following graduation from Durham University with a First Class Degree in BA Geography.

He will study for his Masters in Real Estate alongside working at Savills. During his spare time Miles frequently enjoys early mornings and late evenings practising his photography.

Ian Fowler, head of Savills’ South East development team said: “We are delighted that Sam and Miles have both chosen to start their career journey with Savills – it’s been a busy year for our team with projects stretching across the wider South East.”
