More than 700 objections have been made to plans for 380 homes, a retirement village and a care home in Little Chalfont, Bucks.

The scheme by Biddolph is for a 29-hectare Green Belt site it owns between Lodge Lane and Burtons Lane which includes part of the former Little Chalfont Golf Course and some farmland. The scheme will involve demolition of eight buildings.

In addition to the homes the developer plans a 1,000 sq m community space, open land including a wooded area and to retain 1.4 hectares of land for a future primary school.

The retirement village will have up to 100 units while the care home will have up to 60 beds. The 380 homes includes 152 affordable properties.

Objectors say there will be pressure on roads and that the village can’t accommodate the additional homes.

The team on the project includes jtp on architecture and  masterplanning, CBRE on planning and Barton Willmore as landscape designer. Cratus is working on community engagement.
