Images and a video showing how the redeveloped Aldershot Town FC stadium may look have been published on the club’s website.

Wates Developments and architects from Holmes Miller have been working on designs to redevelop the Vanarama National League club’s EBB Stadium and initial views have been made available.

The £20 million scheme is likely to take place over three phases. Subject to planning consent, the club expects to start work in around two years.

A dedicated development programme page states: “The reality is that we can’t do it all at once, and we will need to look at how we can finance each phase. But we have a clear vision and we’re committed to delivering it.

“The vision that we’ve developed spans the next ten years, with three clear phases to the work.”

Key requirements of fans as a result of consultation has revealed demand for:

  • Improved bar and food facilities
  • Better toilets
  • Maintaining a connection to the club’s heritage
  • A family space
  • A space for more vocal support
  • A destination on non-match days
