Cambridge-based property consultancy Juniper Real Estate has been acquired by property advisory firm DTRE.
Juniper partners Mike Ayton and Jamie Green will stay with the enlarged practice which plans to not only retain a Cambridge presence but also grow from its base in the UK’s leading hi-tech and life sciences cluster.
Green becomes a partner and Ayton a consultant.
Formed in March 2008, Juniper Real Estate specialises in the life science sector with clients including Takeda Pharmaceutical, Astex Therapeutics, Synaptics, Columbia Threadneedle and Nuveen.
Jamie Green said: “This is an exciting time for life sciences right across the Oxford-Cambridge Arc and beyond so the deal could hardly be better timed. Having built Juniper up over the past 14 years, Mike and I are genuinely excited about our prospects moving forward under the DTRE umbrella.”
