At the Hounslow Planning Committee on June 6, the deferred proposal for the development of Manderson House returned and was approved.

The proposal was for:

The demolition of existing office and warehouse buildings on site and the erection of one part-seven storey part-eight storey building (including two-storey podium) and one part-eight storey part-nine storey building (including two-storey podium). Create 111 flats with associated works, including landscaping and amenity space, for commercial and residential use.

The postponement was because an initial approach had been made for the development of housing at Bridge House on the south side of the site. Whilst this was a material consideration, the planning team had assigned less weight to this when compared to the benefits of Manderson House.

The committee approved the officer’s recommendation.
