David Wilson Homes has secured reserved matters approval for 147 homes at Henley Gate, Ipswich.

The development will form part of the second phase of the Henley Gate neighbourhood at Ipswich Garden Suburb.

The 147 homes form part of phase two of the Henley Gate development, which comprises of 1,100 homes, a community centre, sports facilities and a primary school.

As part of the development, situated on the northern fringes of Ipswich, a country park will also be made.

The 147 homes include five flats over garages, six two-bed apartments, and the rest made up of houses of various sizes, 67 of which will be three-bed houses.

Allocated parking will also be created, with two spaces dedicated for every two and three-bed dwelling, three parking spaces for four-bed dwelling, and four spaces for five beds, along with 35 visitor spaces. All properties will also have secure bike parking.

The wider development was granted permission in 2020 from Ipswich Borough Council.
