Douglas Webb House, a former Met Police section house in Sipson, one of the Heathrow villages bordering the M4, has been given permission for demolition and replacement with a six storey, 302 Bedroom Hotel.

The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (part of the Mayor of London’s office) sold 546 Sipson Road, Sipson, West Drayton to British Virgin Islands company Sipson Property Limited for £6,751,000 in 2017. The council overturned their previous decision to refuse planning permission and allowed the proposal to pass after referral to the Mayor of London in 2018. This will increase the number of Hotels in an already crowded market with over 60 close to Heathrow.

Sipson Property is behind the development, Fraser Brown McKenna Architects and Barton Willmore are the planning agents.
