T A Fisher has appointed David Peycke as managing director of T A Fisher and Sons, with effect from 1 October 2026.

David will take over the day-to-day leadership of the housebuilding company from John Fisher, who will become chairman.

David will be the first non-family member to lead T A Fisher in its more than 130-year history.

A Chartered Surveyor with more than 20 years’ experience in residential development, David joined T A Fisher in September 2025 as land & planning director.

He steps into the role as the company builds on a number of recent site acquisitions and planning successes which have strengthened its development pipeline.

John Fisher said: “T A Fisher has been a family business since 1895, so appointing the first non-family managing director in our history is naturally a significant moment for us. When David joined, it was always anticipated that he would take on a broader leadership role, and I am delighted that the time is now right.

“We have successfully navigated a challenging period for the housebuilding sector and now have a strong platform from which to move forward. We see considerable opportunity for established specialist developers such as T A Fisher, producing high-quality homes that meet increasingly high expectations.”

David Peycke said: “I’m delighted to be taking on the role of managing director and to have the opportunity to lead T A Fisher into its next phase.

“We have an exciting pipeline and some excellent opportunities ahead. My focus will be on growing the business sustainably while maintaining the quality, attention to detail, personal approach and values that have always been central to T A Fisher.”
