Wates Developments is drawing up plans for up to 150 homes on land at Stocks Farm, Bramley.

Via Barton Willmore, the developer has requested a screening opinion from Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council over the need for and environmental impact assessment for its scheme which will include a bowling green and skate park.

An outline planning application is being prepared. Access to the 21.5-hectare site, which covers four separate fields, will be from The Street after an existing property is demolished.

In the application RPS suggests an EIA is not required.
