Abingdon-based planning and architectural consultancy West Waddy has merged with West London-based Archadia Architects.

The new business – WWA – will continue to operate from the existing offices in Abingdon and Hampton. The two firms have worked in association with one another since 2014

WWA’s offer includes residential developments, educational campuses, masterplanning and urban design.

Managing director Philip Waddy (pictured) said: “The coming together of our teams under one unified brand is a hugely exciting time.

“Over the last seven years we have developed a strong and cohesive working relationship with our colleagues in London and, by streamlining our processes and bringing everyone under one identity, we will be able to drive greater efficiencies, supporting the business and aspirations of our clients.

“This is the latest step in the evolutionary journey of our practices and puts us in an ideal position to emerge from Covid-19 ready to meet future demands.”
