Plans have been unveiled for a new Build-to-Rent (BTR) development of 309 flats at Bicester Arc.
Outline consent for offices and other commercial uses has already been granted to Peveril Securities and Sladen Estates, the joint venture behind the mixed-use scheme.
The homes development will comprise a mix of one, two and three-bedroom flats, arranged around a landscaped courtyard. Shared amenity areas will include resident lounges, co-working space and a rooftop terrace.
A consultation was held on October 15 ahead of the submission of a planning application to Cherwell District Council.
Rachel Wood, managing director of Sladen Estates, said: “Momentum is building at Bicester Arc, and this next phase marks an exciting step forward for the site. The location provides the opportunity to deliver new homes in a well-connected setting, integrated within the wider masterplan that will bring long-term investment and growth to the town.
“Our ambition is to deliver a landmark scheme – creating flexible, well-designed homes that respond to the evolving needs of Bicester and the wider region. The site already benefits from a range of amenities on its doorstep, and with nationally significant businesses showing interest in occupying office space alongside the planned eco park, we have the opportunity to deliver new homes and jobs within a setting that supports a high quality of life for both residents and workers.”
