Mr Maniar, who joined the practice in 2018 at associate level, has widespread planning expertise across all sectors including managing complex planning strategies and local authority negotiations.

He said: “I am thrilled to be taking a directorship role at WWA, a company that puts sustainability criteria at the heart of any decision. The opportunity to work and lead the talented team is something I feel fortunate to be part of, both professionally and personally. This is an exciting time to bring the practice to the next level.”

WWA has also announced the appointment of Daniel Terry as senior planner. He will join in February.
