Racehorse Owners Association (ROA) is on course to become a new occupier in Reading.

ROA is relocating its High Holborn office to Twelve in Forbury Road and has acquired the 2,271 sq ft fifth floor on a 10-year lease at £37 per sq ft.

The association sees the BMO Global Asset Management-owned building as a stable location due to its close proximity to the station, its contemporary design, private roof terrace and concierge reception.

In a recent refurbishment the building was given showers, bicycle racks, the roof terrace and electric car charging points. Just under 9,000 sq ft remains available in the building.

ROA chief executive Charlie Liverton said: “We are very excited about moving to Reading and Twelve. The town has excellent amenities, strong connectivity and will help us maintain our high levels of productivity and customer care”.

BMO asset manager Blanche Longley said: “We are pleased to welcome ROA to Twelve and are delighted that our recent investment into tenant friendly workspace is paying off.

“We look forward to announcing more lettings in the future.”

Lambert Smith Hampton and Hanover Green helped BMO Global Asset Management get the deal over the line and ROA was represented by Lambert Smith Hampton.
