As the slate is wiped on 2021, we thought we would look over the proverbial shoulder at UK Property Forums and get a fix on the top stories from our three journals: Eastern Echo, London West and Thames Tap.
The story of the potential relocation of the Royal Berkshire Hospital, reported by Thames Tap editor Alan Bunce in November, was the big standout winner for 2021. It was a big scoop which has massive real estate implications for Reading Borough Council and by implication, Wokingham Borough Council.
Encouragingly stories posted in Eastern Echo and London West are also starting to feature in our Top 10 hits. And as ever there are anomalies, such as the Bodicote story which can be partly explained by the association with local Facebook groups and other social media channels which ensure our stories are read by local community groups.

Matthew Battle, managing director of UK Property Forums, said: “2021 has been the year when UK Property Forums and our three journals came of age, registering a record 28,500 page hits during the last four weeks of 2021. The positive signals coming from our readers reflects the success of our model, free access to quality news and views across the regional markets. Drawing upon the knowledge and skills of our journalists, we work hard to fill the gap between national trade press and the coverage of local property news. Long may it continue into 2022!”
Using the ability to do supply analytics and segment our readership, we are keen to increase our numbers and identify new sponsors and partners. If you are interested in becoming a partner in 2022 and reaching your target market, why not make contact (info@ukpropertyforums.com) and we will send you more information.
